JIPO NEEDS YOUR INPUT
Dear Partner,
The Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO), an agency of the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce of the Government of Jamaica, in collaboration with the Compete Caribbean Partnership Facility (CCPF), the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), is undertaking a project for “Strengthening the Intellectual Property Ecosystem to Increase Innovation, Competitiveness and Growth in Jamaica.”
A key component of this project is to Design and Pilot IP Asset-based Lending in Jamaica to enable owners of Intellectual Property to use their IP as collateral to support growth and innovation. You have been invited to participate in a survey collecting data to enhance understanding of practices, opportunities and challenges for IP Asset-based Lending. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes and we ask if you could respond by August 26.
