English Firm fined over £80k for faking Jamaican Pickapeppa sauce

A firm has been fined over £80,000 (US$127,000) for faking thousands of bottles of the popular Jamaican sauce Pickapeppa.

When food firm Wanis lost the rights to import popular Jamaican sauce Pickapeppa, its bosses hit upon a great ruse.

They would make the sauce themselves in a factory 4,690 miles from Jamaica... in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
